Most people dread this, but not me! I feel younger, I've lost 15 pounds plus 5 inches off my belly & 2 inches from my hips. This is so awesome and so easy and I have lots of energy......and I still eat my own favorite foods. (Not some pre-boxed meal).
I don't have to worry about....points, calories, carbs, fats, etc.
I have 2 wonderful & colorful shakes (all different flavors with fresh fruit, yogurt, coconut, chocolate syrup, peanut butter....whatever you like!!!
I have three mid-meal snacks...protein bars, nuts & fruits, veggies, gummie bears...etc.
3 Liters of water through out the day. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY!
And then I have a meal of whatever food I want!!! ( If I have pasta or grains, breads....I eat about 1/3 less than I used to.

3-2-1 Diet Instructions
This is a great way to describe how our weight loss plan works.
(3) Take your supplements (pills) 3 times per day. (with each meal)
(2) Drink a shake 2 times per day.
Make sure you add 3-4 ice cubes (You can replace any 2 meals you like & it doesn't have to be the same ones everyday. Mix it up and work it around your life.)
(1) Eat 1 colorful meal.
Protein & fiber (meat & veggies) work really well with this program but don't eliminate food groups. If you're eating breads, potatoes, grains or pasta, just cut back by 1/3 to 1/2 the amount you would normally eat.
****Drink your Herbal Tea Concentrate. (especially in the morning)
****Eat a snack between meals. (protein bars, roasted soy nuts, fresh fruit & veggies, etc.)
****Drink 3 liters (96 oz) of water throughout the day. If you don't...........you won't lose weight!!
****Never let yourself get really hungry!
This program, like anything, takes some getting used to...but if you give it 3 weeks, which is the amount of time it takes to make or break any habit, you will be thrilled with your energy level and your weight loss results.

HYDRATE & HEAL
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Be sure to drink lots of water in the next few days as it is hot all over the country. Also, if you happened to get a sun burn...blue berries are very healing for the skin and a "Cleopatra Milk Bath" will do wonders to remove dead skin.
"Milk Bath": Pour 2 cups of whole or Butter Milk into your bath and soak for 15 minutes. Then lightly wash over skin with a loofa or scrungy then rinse. There is a property in milk that loosens dead skin with out scraping or pealing it.
This is very relaxing!!

IN THIS HEAT...STAY HYDRATED!!!
I know it takes about a week for your body to adjust to drinkins 3 liters of water throughout the day. You will get to where you love it!! (You'll have to trust me on this one because I'm not sure how to explain why.)
**Make sure you mix in some Herbalife Tea Concentrate for variety. Add a slice of lemon or orange and some honey, it's very tasty.

UPDATE ON BEN (my husband)
When Ben posted a comment on this blog (approximately 3 wks ago) about not having time to exercise but still lost weight..he had lost about 12 pounds.
He has now lost 22 pounds and is down 5 inches on his belly.

Lost 5 inches off of Belly!
I am so thrilled!! It is difficult at best for me to lose weight because I do not have a thyroid. (It was surgically removed due to an auto-immune disease called "Graves Disease".)
Anyway, what this means is that I barely have a metabolism if any! Every calorie I consume has to be burned the same day or I gain weight. It's not fun!
I started my own weight loss program 6 weeks ago and have lost only 13 pounds as of today, HOWEVER, I have lost 5 inches from my belly and 2 inches from my hips. It makes a huge difference in how I look and how my clothes fit.
I can now report with confidence that this game is about pounds & INCHES! Whoo Hoo!!

O.K. It's Time To Start Losing Weight. Make The Commitment to Yourself.
Your commitment to yourself to be healthy and well balanced from a weight stand point will drive you to success. (Not to mention having pounds & inches disappear from your body!)
In my experience,the best place to begin is on the "Quick Start Program".

Yes...It's my husband...
He does make a good point. Losing weight with out exercise can be difficult or seemingly impossible! Everyone needs some physical activity, even if it's walking the dog or taking the long way to everywhere at work. Count your steps some time. Then add more to them each day. You might be surprised. Spend some time thinking about how to add steps in your normal daily routine.

Using your sample pack
There are instructions included. I can not stress enough how important it is to drink 3 liters of water through out the day. The sample pack is not a full program but you will note being less hungry and having more energy. Feeling better in general is a huge step toward losing weight.
**Please do not drink diet soda or tea etc. Things that contain "Aspartame" are very detrimental to this weight loss program.

Save the Scales!
"Save the Scales" is just an attention getter. The truth is that 7 out of 10 of us are overweight. Why we are does not matter at this point. We just need to be solution oriented about it.
Not "Why are we like this", but, "How do we fix it!"
Another statistic I read in the last couple of weeks is that 70 percent of health problems are directly related to poor nutrition. Then what is worse is that we can no longer achieve 100% nutrition from food.
With Healthcare in this country the way it is...I think the best overall defense is to get healthy and stay healthy.
